Payment Information
This online store is a division of Mediterranean Food Retail (Nelson) Ltd.
For online payments we use the Paypal payment gateway, and accept only Mastercard or visa credit cards.
Payment Terms
All prices and charges are in New Zealand dollars ($NZD) and include 15% GST. We currently only deliver to New Zealand addresses, however we welcome overseas customers who wish to purchase our products for delivery to a New Zealand address. Customers can pay for purchases by credit card using either Visa or MasterCard, or by bank deposit, using internet banking or at a National Bank branch.
An order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail after you complete your order. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please contact us by email or by phone on 03 546 7964. If you choose to pay by bank deposit, the confirmation e-mail will contain our bank account details. Orders will be dispatched after the funds have cleared.
Credit card payments are processed through Paystation NZ and National Bank Internet Payment Services. After you have completed your credit card payment, please make sure you click "Continue" to be returned to the Good Food Nelson website.
You must return to the Good Food Nelson website for your order to be created in our system. Orders will be dispatched by the next business day.
Secure credit card transactions are performed through our 3rd party provider, Paystation NZ. Their interface allows us to provide the most secure method of payment processing for customers. Whilst protecting our customer's private details it also allows us to participate in the Verified by Visa and MasterCard Securecode schemes.
Exchange Rate variations:
If you are outside New Zealand and choose to pay by credit card, the price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account, due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand, we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.
Refunds:
If an order fails to reach you or arrives in a faulty condition due to manufacturing defects you can choose to have a full refund rather than receiving a replacement. In this case please contact us by phone on 03 546 7964, and we will arrange to refund your purchase in full.
Product Faults:
While me constantly make every effort to supply fresh, quality, goods - it may occur that a product fault occurs due to a manufacturing or shipping fault. such faults cannot always be detected by us prior to shipping. In such a case, we should be contacted at the earliest opportunity on 03 546 7964.
Returns:
In situations where the goods do not meet the customers expectations in terms of quality or taste etc. a Shop credit may in some circumstances be extended to the customer. In such a case we should be contacted immediately on 03 546 7964. A product can only be considered for return if it is unopened and within date. In such a case we consider it to be fair and equitable that the customer pay the cost of shipping the return item, plus the cost of shipping any replacement item.
Disputes:
In the unlikely situation that a dispute arises from a purchase, please contact us at inquiries. You have the rights and remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If the dispute relates to the use of a credit card, you may also contact the credit card issuer to seek their advice.
