French Wine Tasting - Tuesday 10th March 6pm

Join us for an evening of French wine. Enjoy a wine tasting experience with Will Brunel, of Auckland-based wine importers Maison Vauron.
 
Savour some premium French wines, paired with some of the best of French and local cheeses - matches made in gastronomic heaven. We will be tasting:

  • Aperitif on arrival: Distillerie de Provence “Rinquinquin” – Blue cheese and pear on crostinis.
  • First wine: Henri Bourgeois “Petit Bourgeois” Sauvignon Blanc 2018 (Loire Valley) – Fresh goat cheese.
  • Second wine: Cave de Lugny Macon-Villages “Les Charmes” 2017 (Burgundy) – Delice de Bourgogne cheese.
  • Third wine: Metz Alsace Pinot Gris “Anne-Laure” 2018 (Alsace) – Flammekueche
  • Fourth wine: Chateau de Montmal Fitou 2017 (Languedoc) – Chicken liver parfait 
  • Fifth wine: Chateau Vieux Fort Médoc 2016 (Bordeaux) – Comté cheese
  • Sixth wine: Vieux Lazaret Chateauneuf du Pape 2016 (Rhone Valley) – St Agur French Blue Cheese
The Tasting price is $59 per person, it starts at 6pm on Tuesday 10th of March, and finishes around 8pm.
